Questions, answered

Which insects does it catch?

Flying insects that are drawn to light, including mosquitoes, flies, fruit flies, moths and gnats. It is an indoor trap and isn't designed for crawling insects such as ants or cockroaches.

How does it work without zapping or spray?

The blue light attracts insects and a sticky insert behind the cover holds them. There is no electric grid and no insecticide, so there's no noise and no smell.

Where should I put it?

Use a power point near where bugs come in or gather: the kitchen, near the bin, by the back door or in a bedroom. It works best at night and away from other bright lights. One trap suits one room, so larger homes do better with two or three.

How long does an insert last?

About 2 weeks, depending on how many bugs you have. Swap it when the pad is full or no longer sticky.

Is it safe around kids and pets?

Bugga-off uses no insecticide and has no high-voltage grid. The adhesive is non-toxic and the pad is very sticky, so plug it in where small hands and curious noses can't reach the insert.

Does it use much power?

It uses about 0.5 - 1 watts, similar to a small night light. It is designed to be left on around the clock.

How long does delivery take?

Anywhere from 5 - 14 Business days depending on location and postal service selcted ta checkout
